Help Me is a melodically driven, one-feel swing tune, ideal for the middle of a concert. This chart is very tuneful and has a gospel/blues sort of feel to it, intended to feel like a prayer for help on a wave-tossed boat. Featuring Trumpet 5 and optional rhythm section solos, repeated chromatically descending bass lines, and a screaming shout chorus before returning to the head, this chart is a great challenge for Intermediate level college groups and high-level High School ensembles.
